Practical AI for landscapers
AI for landscapers. Don't lose a garden to a missed call.
You're on a digger or behind a strimmer and you can't hear the phone anyway. A missed-call text-back sends the caller a message asking what they need, so you can reply when the engine's off. I set it up for you.
Nothing is charged until you agree. No jargon, and no obligation.
Why landscapers lose jobs to missed calls
Garden work is seasonal, and the spring rush is when you're busiest and the phone's busiest. Callers ringing about a patio, a fence or a regular mow will try a few people. A quick text keeps you in the running.
The text asks what they want done and where, and that's usually enough to decide whether it's worth a visit. You read the reply at lunch.
What your caller gets
Hi, it's [your company name]. Sorry I missed your call, I'm out on a job at the moment. What do you need doing in the garden, and where are you? I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Works for one-off jobs and regular maintenance alike. See the full explanation of missed-call text-back.
Other places AI can save a landscaper time
- Following up quotes for patios, fencing and design work
- Drafting replies to enquiries, which you check before they go
- Asking for reviews with a photo of the finished job
- Writing up seasonal reminders to regular customers
Today I set up the missed-call text-back. The rest is where your top 3 can point you, and I'll tell you honestly what's possible.
What it won't do
- It doesn't price a job or book a visit. You do that when you reply.
- It can't text callers who withhold their number, or ring from a landline that can't receive texts.
- Diverted calls can use minutes on some mobile plans. Check yours, or ask me to.
- I can't promise a number of extra jobs or customers. It fixes one gap, and that's all.
What it costs
Missed-call text-back is £59 a month plus a £195 one-off setup. Prices are provisional while package terms are confirmed. VAT and terms are confirmed before you buy, and nothing is charged until you agree. An AI receptionist, Aimy, is coming soon but isn't live for customers yet.
Questions landscapers ask
Can I use my existing business number?
Yes. You keep your number. Setup adds a divert for the calls you don't answer.
What if I'm out of signal in a field?
Callers get the text from the number we provide, so it doesn't depend on your signal. You see the replies when you're back in range.
Can you promise it'll win me more work?
No. It fixes missed calls. How much work that's worth depends on your area and how many calls you miss.
